I got this from Matilda Ziegler magazine and hope some of you find it helpful.

Enrichment Audio Resource Services. The E.A.R.S. for
EYES program provides, free of charge, cassettes that
teach adaptive daily living skills to the vision impaired
and their care-givers. The lessons, modeled after current
blind rehabilitation techniques, teach uncomplicated,
straight-forward ways to help those with low vision to do
the things made difficult by loss of sight. Call 800-843-

Hey, this is helpful if you combine this with hands on activities. Yeah, its good to listen to this tapes because it gives you some ideas on how to go about doing things, but I still think that the best way to learn things is by doing them. Try to listen to this one while your doing the task. That would make your mind and your body get to learn the task more quickly.

Well, isn't that the way you're supposed to do it? I mean, it's daily living, so it should be hands-on. Anyway, this sounds like a wonderful idea. Thanks for posting.
